There is a new top team in Class A with the Dickinson Midgets taking over the top spot in unanimous fashion. Central Cass holds onto the top spot in Class B. West Fargo and Central Cass held the top spots in the preseason polls. All coaches statewide have the opportunity to vote in the weekly polls for their respective class. North Dakota Softball All Stars compiles and distributes the results.

Of note:

• Beulah & Central McLean are as high as they've ever been ranked.
• Dickinson is just the fourth team to ever hold the top spot in Class A.
• Many of these teams are in action at the Midseason Madness tournament in Fargo this weekend.
