What do you like the most about the game of softball?
I really enjoy the situational play and how I can reassess and prepare before the next play. I’ve also been very fortunate to meet some of the best people through the sport.

What do you think is your greatest strength in the sport of softball?
I would say being able to persevere through adversity and challenges.

Any favorite moment you used your bat to help your team win?
Lead off home run against Beulah.

Any favorite moment you used your defense to help your team win?
When I ran from center field, dove, caught the ball and continued into a somersault.

What do you like the most about your head coach?
We currently don't have a head coach.

Who is your softball role model?
One of my summer coaches Kurt Grensteiner, and his ability to connect and teach softball to any player he works with.

What is your favorite high school softball moment or game so far?The first time I got to pitch to my sister.

What are your expectations for the upcoming season?
Advance to regionals and for our team to gain more experience.

Do you play on any summer and/or travel teams? If so, which one(s)?
I played on ND Elite last year but this year I will be playing with the Northern Force.

Do you have a favorite pre-game or post-game meal?
Post-game meal of hot ham and cheese.

What is or would be your walk up song?
Seven Nation Army.

Madison Heger

What is the coolest thing about your town?          
The support the community has within all four co-oped towns.
