What do you like the most about the game of softball?
I love the mental aspect of it and all of the different situations.

What do you think is your greatest strength in the sport of softball?
My greatest strength is probably my glove and my understanding of the game.

Any favorite moment you used your bat to help your team win?
Freshman year I hit a walk-off double against Thompson to win.

Any favorite moment you used your defense to help your team win?
My sophomore year we were playing the freezing cold and I had a double play to end the inning. The momentum from that play got my team’s bats going.

What do you like the most about your head coach?
I like how you can see how much he wants to win.

Who is your softball role model?
My softball role model is Sis Bates on the Washington Huskies. She always makes amazing plays and has a good bat too.

What is your favorite high school softball moment or game so far?
My favorite high school softball moment is probably freshman year my teammate, Reagan Hanson, and I hit home runs back-to-back.

Are there any teams you look forward to playing next year? If so, why?
There aren’t any in particular. I am looking forward to competing against all teams.

What are your expectations for the upcoming season?
I have high expectations for this season. I am looking forward to going to regionals and then to state.

Do you have a favorite pre-game or post-game meal?
After a game I love eating a Jimmy John’s sub and Cold Stone ice cream.

Do you have any softball superstitions?
I always chew peppermint gum during warmups and my team is a big believer in rally caps. Whenever there are two outs everyone puts one on.

What is or would be your walk up song?
If I had one it would be Dancing Queen by ABBA.

Who is the funniest teammate you have?
This is a really hard question. I would probably have to say Kobee Pastorek or Reagan Hanson.
