What do you like the most about the game of softball?
What I like most about the game of softball is playing with my friends and being a part of something so amazing. Playing softball created a second family for me, and it grew my relationship with my friends, family, and coaches.

What do you think is your greatest strength in the sport of softball?
My greatest strength in the sport of softball for me personally is being able to recover during a game or practice after making mistakes without getting down on myself.

Any favorite moment you used your bat to help your team win?
During my sophomore year, we were playing in a tournament in Fargo against Shanley. Our team’s bats weren’t awake. During that game, I was batting toward the end of the lineup, and I hit a double into the left field and got two girls home. It awakened my team and our bats up.

Any favorite moment you used your defense or pitching to help your team win?
My favorite moment that my pitching helped my team is pitching a no-hitter in freezing weather. It was raining, windy, and freezing. Pitchers tend to struggle during the cold, but I love it!

Who is your softball role model?
My softball role models are Lauren Chamberlain, Sierra Amundson, Amanda Scarborough, and Jennie Finch.

What do you like the most about your head coach?
What I like most about my head softball coach Scott Kost is the constructive feedback he gives to his players and is not afraid to tell you if you’re doing something wrong. He knows the game very well and can educate his players on the game every day.

What is your favorite high school softball moment or game so far?
There are so many great moments with this team in our softball season, but winning state with my team was great! The energy at the state tournament, in general, is wild!

Are there any teams you look forward to playing next year? If so, why?
This season, I am looking forward to playing West Fargo because they have a great program, it's a great learning experience, and it creates a high-intensity game.

What are your expectations for the upcoming season?
My expectations for this upcoming season is very high. We’re going to keep working hard and work even harder than we did last year.

Are you on any travel teams? If so, which one(s)?
The past four summers, I’ve played on the FM Blaze travel team. We had many tournaments in Fargo, Minnesota and South Dakota. My favorite one was Nationals in Minnesota.

Do you have a favorite pre-game or post-game meal?
I do not have a favorite pre-game meal, but after games, I like to eat pasta with lots of fruit and vegetables on the side.

Do you have any softball superstitions?
I do have softball superstitions, but I can’t reveal them.

What is or would be your walk up song?
Nonstop by Drake or Drip Too Hard by Lil Baby x Gunna

Who is the funniest teammate you have?
The funniest teammate I have is either Josie Buhr or Catie Sinner. Josie is a very outgoing person. Catie Sinner is hilarious, but usually pretty quiet around different people. When I’m around her, jokes are always coming from her mouth.

What is the coolest thing about your town? The coolest thing about Casselton is the support that the communities give to all programs such as our theater, sports, and our academics.
