What do you like the most about the game of softball?
I have a lot of things I like about softball but my all time favorite thing is the relationship I have with my teammates. I have played many sports but with softball you gain a special relationship with not only the team but the coaches.

What do you think is your greatest strength in the sport of softball?
My speed is always there to help me out.

Any favorite moment you used your bat to help your team win?
Last year, we were playing Mandan and we were down 3-4 and I was in the box with a 1-2 count with a teammate on first and hit a home run over the center field fence.

Any favorite moment you used your defense or pitching to help your team win?
Snagging a line drive foul ball while playing Shanely.

Who is your softball role model?
Ever since middle school (former all-star) Sami Trana has been the one I always looked up to.

What do you like the most about your head coach?
We just got a new head coach this year. She has already shown how passionate she is toward softball and all of the players.

What is your favorite high school softball moment or game so far?
The best moment was in 2018 when we beat West Fargo.

Are there any teams you look forward to playing next year? If so, why?
I don’t have any special teams that I really look forward to playing. I look forward to having some competitive games with all the teams.

What are your expectations for the upcoming season?
My expectations are very high for this coming season. We have a team of girls that have varsity experience and want to go out and give 100%. I also expect to improve our record from last year and make it to state again.

Are you on any travel teams? If so, which one(s)? 
I play travel ball during the summer for FM Blaze.

Do you have a favorite pre-game or post-game meal?
I definitely can’t eat before games, but after a long game my go to meal is the chicken pesto flatbread from Tropical Smoothie.

Do you have any softball superstitions?
I have too many softball superstitions to name them.

What is or would be your walk up song?
Ooh Ahh by GRITS ft. TobyMac

Who is the funniest teammate you have?
I would probably say Kaylee McClary. She is always cracking jokes in the dugout.

What is the coolest thing about your town?
Yunker’s Farm is by far the coolest thing about this town.
