What do you like the most about the game of softball?
I really enjoy spending time with people that are passionate about the same things that I am passionate about. I love every aspect of this game.

What do you think is your greatest strength in the sport of softball?
I pride myself on my ability to get out of my own head. When I am up to bat I focus and think to myself, "you can do this. You are good enough." It gives me the confidence that I need to succeed.

Any favorite moment you used your bat to help your team win?
Last year in a sub-region game, I was the three batter and I hit my first home run. It felt like that was all it needed to boost the confidence all through our lineup, as everyone on the team got a hit that day and we won the game.

Any favorite moment you used your defense or pitching to help your team win?
In our first year as a team we pulled a triple play. That was crazy to watch.

Who is your softball role model?
I really look up to the member of my family. My dad and uncles all took me along to their baseball games to watch other play. They really taught me to love the game.

What do you like the most about your head coach?
My head coach is very fun and keeps calm through most situation. He knows exactly how to speak to the girls and how to make us the best that we can be.

What is your favorite high school softball moment or game so far?
In my high school's first year of having a fast pitch team, we only won one game. I will always remember that one game and how excited my teammates were for not only ourselves, but each other. That year I learned what a team was like, and not to play as an individual.

Are there any teams you look forward to playing next year? If so, why?
My team enjoys being very competitive. Velva and Heart River are both great games to gauge our progress in.

What are your expectations for the upcoming season?
I expect my team to come out as big competitors in the next year, with a whole new confidence that will allow us to do great things.

Are you on any summer and/or travel teams? If so, which one(s)?
I play for Fessenden Fast Pitch in the summer.

Do you have a favorite pre-game or post-game meal?
I always drink chocolate milk after games. I also love Rosas' Pizza after out home games!

Do you have any softball superstitions?
I have a sticker that I got out of a Cracker Jack box. I stuck it onto the inside of the bill of my visor and it has been there since my sophomore year. My team also posts a laminated picture of a goat named Bernie on the inside of our dugout. We bring him along to away games.

What is or would be your walk up song?
Head Like a Hole by Nine Inch Nails.

Who is the funniest teammate you have?
This is a very hard question. I would have to say one of our outfielders Jasmine Ripplinger.

What is the coolest thing about your town?
In Fessenden, we have an ice skating rink on Main Street. Everyone really enjoys going and skating on it.
