What do you like the most about the game of softball?
I love the feeling when a teammate or I gets a nice hit and my team cheers really loud, the energy is so fun to be around.

What do you think is your greatest strength in the sport of softball?
I think I am very strong in the field. I have gotten much better at my pop flies and grounders hit to me.

Any favorite moment you used your bat to help your team win?
When we played against Central and I got on base every single time by hitting the ball to the outfield in nearly the same exact spot.

Any favorite moment you used your defense or pitching to help your team win?
We had to get an out while all the bases were loaded. The ball was hit to me, I grounded it and threw it home to stop them from winning. It was a great team win.

Who is your softball role model?
Jennie Finch - she constantly is trying to improve on new things.

What do you like the most about your head coach?
She is the most kind and caring person I have ever met. Not only does she care about how I perform on the field but she also cares about me as a person. She’s someone I can go to if I ever need to talk. I also love how competitive she is on the field, it shows how much she loves the game.

What is your favorite high school softball moment or game so far?
I really liked the team effort we gave the second time we played Central in the 2019 spring season. We came from behind to win it against them.

Are there any teams you look forward to playing next year? If so, why?
I cannot wait to play West Fargo. Every time we play them, it is usually a close game. They are the most fun team to play.

What are your expectations for the upcoming season?
Personally, I would like our team to make it to state. That would be the first time in Red River Softball's history. We all need to give our best effort day in and day out if we want to get there.

Are you on any travel teams? If so, which one(s)?
Unfortunately I do not, I don’t have enough time with work in the summer.

Do you have a favorite pre-game or post-game meal?
My favorite pregame meal would be the #4 with cheese at Jimmy Johns and a Starburst Revive Tea.

Do you have any softball superstitions?
I have two. I always tie my left cleat before my right cleat and I always do the same batting routine when I am up to bat.

What is or would be your walk up song?
Your Love by the Outfield

Who is the funniest teammate you have?
We have many but probably Megan Jacobson.

What is the coolest thing about your town?
I think the coolest thing in our town is the Ralph Engelstad Hockey Arena.
