What do you like the most about the game of softball?
I love softball because it has given me a second home and friendships that will last a lifetime.

What do you think is your greatest strength in the sport of softball?
My greatest strength is my ability to be a team player and leader.

Any favorite moment you used your defense or pitching to help your team win?
One of my favorite pitching memories was the opening round of the 2019 State Softball Tournament. We were playing a talented team and I was able to record 16 strikeouts. This was a great win for our team!

Jennie Finch and Lisa Fernandez

What do you like the most about your head coach?
I love how my coach pushes my teammates and me to be the kindest people and how she makes me love the game more and more everyday!

What is your favorite high school softball moment or game so far?My favorite high school game was when we played Thompson to get into the state championship game in 2018. It was the first time a team from the west was in the championship game, and we also made history in our school! 

Are there any teams you look forward to playing next year?
I am most excited to play Casselton and Heart River. 

What are your expectations for the upcoming season?
Our goal is always to make it to the state championship and win, but our expectations are to work our hardest and support one another on and off the field. 

Do you play on any summer and/or travel teams? If so, which ones?
Yes, I play on Minot Storm.

Do you have a favorite pre-game or post-game meal?
I only have pregame snacks: Gushers or Doritos 

Do you have any softball superstitions?
My only softball superstition is I always have my catcher (Brynley Benno) tie my shoe before every game.

What is or would be your walk up song?
My walk up song would be Look Alive by Blocboy JB and Drake. 

Who is the funniest teammate you have?
Our funniest teammate is Addyson Hughes! 

What is the coolest thing about your town?
The coolest thing about my community is how close and involved our community is with absolutely everything.
