What do you like the most about the game of softball?
I love the competition of the game, and the sport in its entirety.

What do you think is your greatest strength in the sport of softball?
In the toughest of times, I am able to stay positive and lead my team by example.

Any favorite moment when you used your bat to help your team win?
We ultimately did not win the game, but I did hit my first home run, a grand slam, to get my team the lead in the first inning of a game against Dickinson last spring.

Any favorite moment you used your defense or pitching to help your team win?
My favorite moment was when I was ahead on an 0-2 count with two outs late in a game.  I threw a ball on the very outside of the plate and the batter swung and struck out. That 3rd out really helped us because it was able to keep the score at a 1 run difference.

Who is your softball role model?
Kelly Barnhill

What do you like the most about your head coach?
What I like most about Coach Jungling is him calm and positive demeanor with the team.

What is your favorite high school softball moment or game so far?
My favorite game was when we played Bismarck High last season.  We started the game with the lead, but in the end BHS did come back to win. It is still my favorite game because we played extremely hard and competed well as a team out on the field that day.

Are there any teams you look forward to playing next year? If so, why?
Minot. Last year we played them and lost by 1 in an 11 inning game, so this year I am really excited to play them again.

What are your expectations for the upcoming season?
My expectations for our team is to improve our record from last year and personally to be more consistent with my pitching and hitting.

Do you play on any summer and/or travel teams? If so, which ones?
For many years now I have played with the same girls on various teams including the Bismarck Sparks and ND Elite.

Do you have a favorite pre-game or post-game meal?
My favorite post or pre-game meal is any kind of food or meal, as long as it is with my teammates.

Do you have any softball superstitions?
If I have a bow, or any hair accessory that the girls also have, I absolutely have to wear it.

What is or would be your walk up song?
Centuries, by Fall Out Boy

Who is the funniest teammate you have?
Sydney Gustavsson

What is the coolest thing about your town?
We are a small enough town where we know most everyone in our community, and we come together to support one another.
