What do you like the most about the game of softball?
I love every single thing about softball. It is my stress reliever. Getting out on the field is what I look forward too every day. Hitting the ball, pitching and fielding the ball, along with playing as a part of a team is what I love the most.

What do you think is your greatest strength in the sport of softball?
My greatest strength is maintaining a positive attitude and keeping my teammates spirits up.

Any favorite moment when you used your bat to help your team win?
When I hit a triple with the bases loaded to break the tie vs. Central McLean to win the game.

Any favorite moment you used your defense or pitching to help your team win?
When I was pitching and the batter hit a line drive back at me and the ball hit me right in the wrist of my glove hand. But even after getting hit on the wrist and thinking I broke my wrist, I still somehow managed to get the out even after being hit.

Who is your softball role model?
Amanda Scarborough.

What do you like the most about your head coach?
What I love about my head coach is how passionate she is about the game of softball. Her drive fuels not only me to push myself to improve my game, but her drive also pushes her players to be the best they can be. She is a great coach just overall.

What is your favorite high school softball moment or game so far?
When we played the Wilton Miners my junior season, and we won the game by one with the last batter up with a full count and she struck out.

Are there any teams you look forward to playing next year? If so, why?
The two teams I really look forward to playing against are Heart River and Velva. I look forward to those games because Heart River has a very strong program both defensively and offensively, and it will be a good and competitive region game. And, Velva has some strong hitters which will be a fun game for our defense.

What are your expectations for the upcoming season?
My expectations are for our team to be strong both defensively and offensively. We return 7 of our starters from last year who all have several years of varsity experience and all have a strong desire to make the program the best it can be. It will be a fun and competitive season for sure.

Do you play on any summer and/or travel teams? If so, which ones?
In the summer of 2018, I played on a 16U team called Revolution, and then in the summer of 2019 I played for ND Elite.

Do you have a favorite pre-game or post-game meal?
Pre-game meal- Starbucks refresher drink along with a snack of watermelon sour patch kids. Post-game meal- grilled cheese.

Do you have any softball superstitions?
No, I don't believe in them. I know I just have to go out and play the game I love and give it everything I have each game.

What is or would be your walk up song?
Bring Em Out by T.I.

Who is the funniest teammate you have?
Definitely THE Emma Olson.

What is the coolest thing about your town?
Coolest thing would be the Ice Burg, which is our local ice cream shop.
